Jacksonville Sheriff's Office would like your help in solving a mystery on the northside. Someone is throwing large objects and damaging cars.

JSO reports at least two drivers called police after something was thrown at their car.

The incidents happened early Saturday morning on Lem Turner Road.

Pamela Chambers is one person who called police. She was driving home from work when something sounding like a boom hit and shook her car. She tells First Coast News she was scared.

And the object did some damage shattering her back windshield and costing her around $200.00

Then later around 3 a.m. the same thing happened to Carol Bailey who was driving friends home when something, she says a boulder, struck the car. The boulder came close to hitting a child in the backseat.
In this case the rock left a dent in the car. And Bailey says other car owners were also pulled over examing the damage to their cars too.

"I feel like no matter where you go, you're not safe," Chambers said. "I just want the public to know, to be aware of what's going on because if it happened to me, it could happen to anyone."
