ATV rider dies

On December 17, 22-year old Keith Jones was driving his Yamaha ATV on the streets of Jacksonville Boulevard and as he began to cross Atlantic Boulevard to make a U-turn, drove into the path of a car driven by 18 year-old Christopher Saunders

Although Mr. Jones was wearing a helmet, he died at the scene. Mr. Saunders was not injured, however 18 year old Jacob Robins his passenger, suffered minor injuries.

ATV's are designed as off road vehicles and are not permitted on public streets and highways in Florida.
