This is one of the more bizarre stories I've heard lately.

A teenager was waiting for his school bus on Jacksonville's Westside. That happens every day, but what was strange was this young man had his pillow and blanket and was sleeping in the street.

There is obviously more to this story such as where were his parents? Where is his head? And why was he so exhausted? As you might expect a car did not see him in the early morning about 6:30 and hit him. The driver did not stop and there were not any skid marks so it's possible the driver did not see the boy before he hit him.

Police say they are searching for the driver, which will be tough without any witnesses. Time to reassess this dangerous place to sleep. It's likely that Department of Children and Families are called into figure out why this teen is making such dangerous choices with no supervision.
