A road in Baker County will be named to honor Kimberly Brannan, the principal of Westside Elementary who died in November in an auto accident on I-10. Brannan was the principal for the last four years and taught for over a decade there.

A ceremony at the school this week brought out Glen St. Mary parents, citizens, children and teachers to honor principal Brannan.

The school will also dedicate a reading garden in her name and create a scholarship for a Baker County high school senior who plans to follow a career path in education.
