On December 21, 2006, Denise Rose Tavary crasher her way through the City of St. Augustine, Florida in her Ford Explorer SUV.

Witnessed say they saw her run a stop sign, hit a truck on Avenida Menendez, veer into a parking lot, plow into two more care and then drove back onto Avenida Mendez

She drove a few hundred yards and rammed Damage to five vehicles about $7,500.00. Damage to her vehicle included front fender, the front of her vehicle and her passenger door.
Ms. Tavary informed police she consumed one shot of alcohol however she was taking prescription medications. She refused to take a blood-alcohol test and was arrested for driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident.
