Two separate lawsuits have been filed against Pfizer, Inc., the manufacture of Lipitor, a popular anti-cholesterol drug on the ground the company failed to provide adequate warnings about potential side effects

Charles M. Wilson, age 67, a former insurance executive from Atlanta claims he suffered from neuropathy, a nervous system disease that disrupts muscle control.

Michael Mozzarella, a 47-year-old attorney from New York City began experience debilitating pain, weakness and memory problems. Although Mazzariello stopped taking the medication he still suffers from pain, fatigue and tingling sensation in his hands and feet.

The Pfizer Company claims their label and advertising included all potential side effects. Including a caution to patients to "tell your doctor if you feel any new muscle pain or weakness. This could be a sing of rate but serious muscle side effects."

Lipitor is a top selling being in more than $12 billion a year.
