The history of chemical birth control is, with no exaggeration, littered with the bodies of women: in the late 50's/early 1960's the first pill ENOVID, (developed by Gregory Pincus, funded by Margaret Sanger, tested on poor Puerto Ricans!) caused blood clots that killed or maimed thousands of women in the first years of its use. Recently, the New York Times termed it a "massive overdose" -- 10 times the dose needed to suppress ovulation! FIFTY YEARS LATER, Yaz. When will we women learn to honor our bodies? To shine a light on about our cyclic fertility instead of suppressing it? To be free IN our womanly fertility, not from it? To know WHEN we are fertile and when not? Our own power is in self-control, NOT birth control.

SUE THEM AND HELP US WOMEN... In December of 2007 I weighed 125 lbs. - looked and felt great. I started taking Yaz and within the 4 months that I took it I gained 20-25 lbs.

I am a certified personal trainer and former bodybuilder and fitness competitor, I tried over and over to lose the weight and I was having the hardest time getting my body to change.

I had my thyroid tested, hormones, etc. - - Just 8 weeks ago my massage therapist was working on me and he kept hitting certain spots and so I asked him what that related to within my body and he kept saying "Gallbladder"

So he suggested and I concurred, and did a 6 day gallbladder cleanse. AMEN!!! My body has been changing dramatically.

Then I come across information that Yaz is being sued for Gallbladder issues - AND many other issues too.

This really is beyond upsetting. We have been used like guinea pigs!! This product is obviously not safe and obviously has major complications and many various side effects depending upon the individual woman.

I pray for this woman that had a stroke and for the other women to get justice for the rest of us!!

I THANK GOD THAT MY MASSAGE THERAPIST WAS THERE TO GIVE ME GUIDANCE AND HELP ME SAVE MY OWN LIFE!

Who knows what would have happened and what was happening to my body with that pill in my system.

GOD SPEED FOR ALL THE WOMAN WHO HAVE BEEN HARMED BY THIS PRODUCT!!

It has taken me almost 2 full years to see my body change!!! So for those women that have taken it and gained weight - - consider a gallbladder cleanse - THANK GOD it worked for me!!!

This is a joke. All oral contraceptives have the same listed adverse effects. The only reason that Bayer Corp is being sued is that they are the producers of the number one and two OC on the market. There was no mention if these women had any type of pre existing conditions that might also be the cause of the stroke or the pulmonary embolisim. Finally, YAZ is not indicated for severe premenstrual depression. This article is about as accurate as the law suit.

Jane, You know as long as Merck and all the BIG PHARMA'S have a shield of preemption of the Law, with the immunity they can do what ever they please to continue with their drug Blitz in this country and the world. They are not held Accountable for any loss of life that they take from innocent children or any consumers. They are above the Law. Fact is there is NO FEDERAL,NO STATE LAW for Product Liability for DEFECTIVE Prescription DRUGS. NO remedy is provided for death or injury. Merck and others get off with a voluntary (NO CONTEST) Criminal fine, Called Settlement out of Court, as the cost of doing business and uses the Consumers as their experimental scientific study, that never gets public announcements other than the death certificate.It is shameful that our Congress allows this to continue. If you as an indivual tries to seek justice, with or without an Attorney you can not prosecute for the intentional death caused by any Prescription drug. The Law is Preempted by Congress.

It is important to note that while this and their previous study showed "significant behavioural and neuropathological outcomes with aluminum hydroxide" that these results were achieved under minimal conditions and that the effect of multiple other factors in real situation such as "stress, multiple vaccinations, and exposure to other toxins" would more than likely make the outcomes worse. "A recent study examining some of these factors in combination showed that stress, vaccination, and pyridostigmine bromide (Pyridostigmine bromide has been FDA approved for military use during combat situations as an agent to be given prior to exposure to the nerve agent Soman in order to increase survival), may synergistically act on multiple stress-activated kinases in the brain to induce neurologic impairment in GWS."

I asked Professor Shaw, "In your opinion why do various governmental agencies continue to insist that vaccines are safe when you clearly state in your research paper that ‘it also seems that there have been no rigorous animal studies of potential aluminum adjuvant toxicity. The absence of such studies is peculiar given the well known observation that aluminum in general can be neurotoxic under a number of conditions and adjuvants in particular have previously been implicated in neurological disease'?" Professor Shaw replied "A less charitable person than I would likely look at links between pharma and the regulatory agencies. I don't know of any safe adjuvants. Aluminum is the one considered ‘safe'."

The authors conclude, "Overall, the results reported here mirror previous work that has clearly demonstrated that aluminum, in both oral and injected forms, can be neurotoxic." I followed up with Professor Shaw "knowing what you know about aluminum from your research would you personally use a vaccine that contains aluminum?" He responded "No, and I don't."

Randi Allaire was an Information Management Specialist in the military for almost four years. Three and one-half years were spent with the Air National Guard as Information Management, the previous five and half was with the Army Guard as a Flight Operations Specialist.
As part of the military's program to protect their troops from chemical and biological weapons, Randi was required to take the anthrax vaccine. On March 14, 1999 she was given her fourth anthrax vaccine. It was after that shot that she has suffered chronic fatigue, memory lapses, migraines, pain in the forearms, and other aches and pains. She received no help with her condition and only denials that the anthrax vaccine could cause any of these problems and that the cause of her problems was likely the "flu" or too much "stress". She was eventually thrown out of the military because she refused to take the fifth anthrax vaccine shot in fear for her own personal health.

Aluminum is the most commonly licensed adjuvant that is added to a large number of vaccines. An adjuvant is a substance added to a vaccine to amplify the immune response. Aluminum compounds, which were identified over 90 years ago as adjuvants, are considered by the pharmaceutical industry and various government agencies as safe. The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has continued to approve the use of aluminum as an additive to vaccines for many years.

Despite these assurances that aluminum and all vaccine ingredients are safe, large numbers of military veterans who suffer from Gulf War Syndrome as well as parents of children who suffer from various neurologic conditions including Autism strongly believe that the vaccines were often at least in part a cause of their health problems.

A recent study in the Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry examined the possible neurotoxicity of aluminum. This new work builds on a previous study where the researchers had injected mice with a combination of aluminum and squalene, another vaccine adjuvant which is not licensed in North America.

In that study the investigators injected mice with adjuvants that mimicked the anthrax vaccine schedule set by the Anthrax Vaccine Immunization Program. The investigators concluded in that study"our data suggest that the aluminum hydroxide adjuvant induces both behavioral and motor deficits and the loss of motor neurons and increased presence of astrocytes [astrocytes are cells that express inflammatory markers] in spinal cord and neuronal apoptosis [cell death] in the primary motor cortex." When Professor Shaw was asked in an article by Pieta Wooley about this research Professor Shaw replied "No one in my lab wants to get vaccinated. This totally creeped us out. We weren't out there to poke holes in vaccines. But all of a sudden, oh my God-we've got neuron death!"

In this new study (also termed experiment 2), mice received 6 aluminum hydroxide injections over a 2 week period. These mice along with control mice were subjected to a more rigorous behavioral testing regime than the original experiment.

The investigators found "the multiple aluminum hydroxide injections of experiment 2 showed profound effects on motor and other behaviours... Multiple aluminum injections produced significant behavioural outcomes including changes in locomotion behavior, and induced memory deficits on water maze tasks."

I asked Professor Shaw "To your knowledge have there been any autopsies performed on service men and women that had GWS [Gulf War Syndrome] and have died to examine if they have a similar pattern of aluminum contamination that you discovered in your research?" He responded "that it has not been done to my knowledge." I also asked "Has there been an examination of people with autism to examine the obvious likely link between aluminum and mercury contamination and that condition?" Again he responded "Not to my knowledge."

These 'side effects are NOT rare! They are happening every day to literally hundreds of thousands of young girls after receiving Gardasil. The numbers in VAERS is estimated to only be between 1-10% of the true numbers!

Try asking some of us moms who have to deal with these horrible side effects every day if we consider it to be RARE!

My 16 year old daughter has been injured by Gardasil. She was a healthy, active teenage girl before Gardasil was pushed on us at a routine doctor visit. After receiving 2 of the 3 shots, my daughter has experienced severe overall weakness, numbness/tingling in both legs and left arm, chest pains, racing heart, pressure in head, vision problems, back pain, abdominal pain, nausea, diarhea, weight loss, dizziness, just to name a few. She has been in the ER twice, once by ambulance because she stopped breathing 3 times.

She's seen several doctors. She's had a CT scan done. All tests come back normal (which is typical with all of the injured 'gardasil girls'). Her blood panel showed high on immunoglobulin E (131H) and Anti-streptolysin O (208H) which the doctor 'thought' was Rheumatic Fever. Another doctor has said he did not believe she had Rheumatic Fever.

I would love for you to look at the other side of the fence and research this. There are thousands upon thousands of girls that are coming down with strange illnesses, paralysis, gran mal seizures, etc. after receiving Gardasil.

We are now getting reports of girls/young women that are breaking out with genital warts and severe cases of cervical cancer AFTER receiving Gardasil. Before Gardasil, they were tested for HPV and the test results came back negative. Now, a few months after getting the Gardasil vaccine their test results are positive. Some of these girls/women did not initially have any side effects from the vaccine.

We have Gardasil injured girls that are being interviewed by the media all over the United States. We are trying to get the word out (and our stories) to try and get someone to listen.

It doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that these perfectly healthy girls all of a sudden come down with all of these strange sicknesses (some that I cant even pronounce) after getting jabbed with Gardasil. All within days/weeks? Come on!!!!

I'm telling you...once this all comes out in the open (and it WILL), and these HPV vaccines are taken off the market, and major law suits pop up...maybe then you will wish you had researched this better! Just like Merck's 'wonderful' Vioxx...what will it take? 100,000 dead/injured before someone takes notice?

You can't get correct information from someone who's wallet has been lined with 'donations' and 'contributions' from Merck, thats for sure!!!
