The Olive Garden in Castleton, Indiana was the latest in a string of's where patrons became sick from food served. More than 300 people became ill reporting symptoms of nausea, vomiting, fever and diarrhea. Three patrons were hospitalized

The health department and Olive Garden made a joint decision to close the restaurant based on what they believed was in the best interest of the public's health.

Gasteroenteritis possibly caused by norovirus is suspected however, health officials are still trying to fully identify the illness and cause
. Inspectors found on health code violations, however, they collected leftover food and other samples to track down the source. Several employees called in sick.
