Honda- or Honda-type car with front end or windshield damage.

Crimestoppers number is above. There may be some cash incentive to call.

Someone noted that 2 am is about the time the bars close - very tragic all around.

A comment on Antilock Brakes On Motorcycles Might Save Lives In Florida

Amazing the study doesn't include statistics on motorcycle air bags and their effectiveness in reducing injuries. Oh, wait... only one manufacturer in the World offers an air bag - Honda! Probably not enough statistical data, yet. What about the effectiveness of headlight modulators - the one device that can PREVENT accidents, and legal in ALL 50 states by federal law? No statistics for that either, huh? I do know that the NHTSA says over half of all motorcycle accidents are caused my drivers who either pull out or turn left in front of the motorcycle, and I know that modulating headlights do raise visibility. It would be nice to see a study on their effectiveness. Wonder how many of those drivers who "didn't see the motorcycle" were talking on their cell phone - it would be nice to see those statistics, too. "Mr. Johnson was wearing his helmet, and Mr. Smith was talking on his cell phone at the time of the accident."

The FLDHS report also says 61% of MC riders and passengers killed were wearing helmets. Doesn't that mean only 49% weren't? Analysis would indicate "Helmets KILL!"

My grandson was not airlifted to the hospital. Injuried sustained on the track took his life, and he passed away before taken to the hospital by ambulance.

He was a wonderful young man with his entire future ahead of him. We will never forget him; he lives on in our hearts for now and evermore.

he wasn't airlifted. you're wrong there. Also the bike didn't land on top of him. Get your facts straight next time after you advertise my friend's death online. You don't even know what happend. I'm tired of all these rumors. Ben was the best guy ever and we're all sorry to have him gone.
