On The Job Safety As Teens Face Summer Jobs

The ring of the final bell of the school year means many teens will file into the workplace to make some spending money at their summer jobs. Julie Ferguson at Workers Comp Insider has compiled a list of sites that should help teens stay safe at their workplaces for the next three months and fills us in on some scary facts:

Every three minutes, a teen gets hurt at work, and about 70 teens die at work each year. Even a workplace that looks or seems safe may have hidden dangers. It's important to be educated in advance so that you know your rights and responsibilities.
